YOUR WEDDING DAY
Our focus is to capture your special day as it naturally unfolds, being in the right place to photograph the raw emotion of the bride, groom and guests as they smile, laugh and dance throughout the day. Our mission is to make you & your guests feel comfortable by photographing in a way that is both discrete & quick by taking the shot before anyone notices. At the end of your wedding day we will have captured an entire story from start to finish. After the big day is finally over and the honeymoon period begins we will then start editing your photos and video footage - you can expect a clean, ‘cinematic’ look to them whilst maintaining true to life skin tones. Below is a brief breakdown to how a typical wedding day with us will look.
1. THE BRIDAL/GROOM PREPS
Whether it be at your home or hotel, we will be with the dashing bride and bridal party to capture every moment. You should expect both your photographer and videographer to be on board for this segment. We usually stay with you between 45 mins -1.5 hrs depending on your requirements. You can expect us to arrive when you are in the middle of getting your hair and make up done and in time to get into your beautiful wedding attire.
2. THE CEREMONY BUILD UP
One of us (usually Marsha) takes the responsibility of getting lots of pictures of the bride arriving (rushing) to meet the groom at the church alter, whilst the other (Dwain) will capture the groom's reactions of the bride's arrival.
3. THE CEREMONY
The most anticipated and emotional part of the day!
Expect the works. The nerves, the joy, the excitement and the tears all wrapped up in one session. For video, we prefer to shoot from multiple angles to capture reactions from the bride and groom, bridal party as well as the congregation. Photography style will be sweet and discreet.
4. CONGRATULATIONS & CELEBRATIONS
You've tied the knot! Time to celebrate! Everyone gets their chance to congratulate you and give you a big hug and kiss. This is such a great opportunity for us to capture you and your loved-ones together. A beautiful added feature to a wedding album.
5. THE GROUP SHOTS
We love a good group shot! Some like them formal, some on the other hand love to have a laugh, good news is that we love them both. We ensure that we gather as many names as possible to line up the important shots.
6. THE WEDDING SPEECHES
Another emotional segment of your big day, not a dry eye in sight.
We absolutely love these moments as we can capture all of your family and friend's emotions and token statements about how they feel about you.
Using specialised audio equipment and 4k camera quality, we provide top quality footage!
7. THE FIRST DANCE & FATHER/DAUGHTER DANCE
Typically around 7:30/8pm - once the evening guests have arrived then its time to cut the cake and have your first dance.
We now move in to get intimate shots of you both during the dance but we promise not to get too close. Along with a few shots of your guests as they cheer you on and come onto the dance floor themselves for a dance after. .
8. THE PARTY
The final segment of the day! You've made it......and exhale.
As you let your hair down and enjoy your spouse, family and friends on the dance floor, we'll be there to capture all the dance moves so you can see for yourself that you've still got it!
